Ever since the age of twelve, I have aspired to be an author. Writing stories became an escape, a way for my imagination to come alive on the handwritten pages of steno pads, notebooks and journals. A closet writer for many years due to a series of unfortunate events, when it came to sharing my writing, a cloud of self-doubt would follow that it wasn’t worthy or good enough; so it would stay buried, deep within a drawer, a satchel, or just locked up in my mind. An extrovert by nature, slowly but surely my love of writing seeped into homemade greeting cards, personalized poems for friends, song lyrics and of course, lots of stories. What God has placed in your heart, no one can take away. It may be suppressed, even overshadowed, but writing stories is part of my DNA. My debut novel, Sinful Liaisons, is a multicultural mix of risky relationships, intriguing characters and surprising plot twists. If you like suspenseful romance with a nice heaping of spice, you will not be disappointed with this debut. After many years, I am finally able to walk into my destiny. By day, I’m a manager at a nonprofit agency; by night, I carve out time to spend with my husband and two children. And somewhere in the wee hours of the night, I write. I am available for speaking opportunities to help others keep the faith and follow their dreams.
